I always mix up my exercise routines every couple of months. Currently, I’m alternating every three days – chest & triceps, back & biceps, legs & shoulders. I also go for a run a couple of times a week. I’ve been making good progress and keep moving up in how much weight I can lift.
Today I did barbell chest presses, close grip pushups with pushup stands, TRX triceps extensions, dumbbell flyes, and bench dips along with two different abdominal exercises. I like to make a circuit and go from one exercise to the next without much of a break. Doing circuits like this is one of my favorite things about working out at home compared to at the gym.
I picked up my barbell, weights and a bench off of Facebook Marketplace around the start of the COVID lockdowns. It’s not Olympic but it gets the job done and it was not very expensive.
